I did weigh myself weekly and the addition of pounds when I was hardly eating was very discouraging. The problem was that the Healthy Trim was making me so full that I would forget to eat. Then my blood sugar would drop and I felt like crap. I ended up with migraines or crazy nausea. It was insane. I actually gained weight because my body thought I was starving to death and it wasn't going to let go of the fat.
So the last week or so I have been keeping careful tabs on what I eat and when. There is no skipping breakfast or lunch and making sure the foods I'm eating are healthy. I also started exercising more often. I walk the dog for at least 15 minutes every other day and hubby has been doing power yoga with me at night, every night. This lasts anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes depending on which workout we do.
In one week, by adjusting to truly healthy eating habits I have lost my three pounds. Next week I am putting myself on a more rigorous schedule that involves meal planning, exercise in the AM and in the evening and maybe even a few 5 minute dancing sessions during the day to keep the blood moving. I DO sit most of the day working at the computer after all.

Day 12-Much Better Now
The first week I was sluggish by the afternoon. Most likely due to the lack of caffeine in my system. I could down a 2 liter of Coca Cola or Mountain Dew in one day so cold turkey was a bit of a shock. The Healthe' Trim pills tell you no caffeine, decaf drinks, sodas, tea, or artificial sweeteners which leaves out sports drinks and my lovely little water flavoring MIO.
By day 3 I came down with a serious migraine. Like go to bed and don't get up. Ahem, no caffeine equals serious freaking withdrawal headache. For TWO DAYS. Yes 2, count them. By the sixth day of no caffeine I was headache free and feeling pretty good.
Feeling ecstatic about the two days I exercised for those whopping 10 minutes each. Oh and I lost 4 pounds in the first week. Woo Hoo! Now into the second week and feeling pretty good. Not wanting to eat junk so much. Had a sip of a Diet Coke and that was plenty for me. Tomorrow I start working out everyday. Aiming for minimum of 10-20 minutes a day.
The actual weigh in for me is on Thursday so not sure how much more I'm going to drop. I did walk for like 20minutes today. I was waiting for Sears to open so I walked around the mall and up and down a flight of stairs.
My goal is 4-5 pounds a week. So far so good. Sounds like a lot but I'm kinda squishy so I'm thinking the first 10-20 pounds should not be too terribly hard. That's all for now. Have you ordered Healthe' Trim? Go all natural with an energy boost and serious appetite suppressant. I have cut my calories in half. This week starts my new healthy eating regimen.

Day 1-Am I Really Doing This?
Yesterday I received my healthy trim pills in the mail. Today I started out with one pill in the morning and one pill at lunch. I wasn't feeling super energized and I was a little cranky. Most of that was due to lack of sleep from last night. So I guess I should say that I at least stayed awake today. As for the appetite suppressant part? Umm yeah, I couldn't eat anything sweet if I even thought I wanted to. Please know that I love sweets, absolutely loooooooove them. I am also a Pop Tart freak. I ate a whole box by myself over the weekend. I couldn't even look at the Pop Tart box today. It made me nauseous to even think about eating anything sweet.
What did I eat today?
chicken biscuit
1 cup of spaghetti with plain pasta sauce
3 chicken wings
1 banana
2 slices of pizza with everything on it
Doesn't sound like a diet does it? That's because it's not. I'm working my way to eating healthier but this first week I am aiming for eating less food.
A typical amount of food for me would have been:
a chicken biscuit and a sausage biscuit
two Pop Tarts
2-3 cups of spaghetti
two more Pop Tarts or chips or peanut butter crackers
a bowl of ice cream with the kids
6-8 chicken wings
3-4 slices of pizza
another bowl of ice cream with hubby
Guess what? It wasn't a result of will power. It was a matter of I wasn't hungry. As in, if I even tried to eat something I felt nauseous. Normally if I was upset or even just bored I would eat. Today it didn't matter. The full feeling was so overwhelming that I COULD NOT eat. How amazing is that?

Yet Another Time Around-My Healthe' Trim Challenge
After struggling to make a dent in my weight over the last few years (and some prodding from my husband) I have decided to give healthe' trim a try. This product is promoted as being the all natural weight loss solution that works miracles. So I ordered it and waited by the mailbox for it to come. Sort of like the Wile E. Coyote from the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. Because the shipment company is less than an hour from my house I figured it couldn't take long.
I ordered over the phone on Friday. It was early evening so the guy on the other end informed me that it wouldn't ship out until Monday. Really? You don't work weekends? No ma'am. (Yes this is the South.) Ummm, okay guess it should be here Tuesday. Not a big deal. So Monday came and I had to remind myself it was just shipping out. Tuesday came and nothing. Wednesday came and yay me, it was in the mail! I rip open the package-which was no small feat because of the plastic bubble wrap envelope- and read the directions. My one page "How to get the best results" thingie.
Take 1-2 pills in the morning on an empty stomach with a FULL glass of water. I can do that. Although right now it's 5pm so guess I'll start tomorrow, sigh.
Wait 2-3 hours before eating breakfast. Oh and drink 2-3 glasses of water during this time. Hmmmm, ok maybe I can get up early, take it, go back to bed for an hour then start my day. Not sure about drinking that much water first thing in the morning.
Drink a minimum of 8-10 glasses of water EVERY day. This means no less than 64 oz a day. Of course 3-4 of those are consumed first thing in the morning. Here's the kicker- no flavored water or flavoring syrup allowed (you know Crystal Light and my favorite MIO) but hey I can use fresh fruit. Hello lemon juice.
No caffeine, decaf, or artificial sweeteners. WHAT? If I could avoid those things on my own I wouldn't need the healthe' trim, would I? Oh this includes stuff like tea, soft drinks, chocolate, energy drinks and any sweetener other than plain sugar or organic stuff. Ummm, yeah sure, no problem. Good thing I didn't pick up that decaf coffee at the store on Saturday.
There you have it. The beginning to my healthe' trim challenge. Let's see how it goes.
